SheetLoad Uploaded + More

Alicia, the publisher of SheetLoad has given the magazine a whole new look! I was amazed at the new layout (even though she told the design team that she was doing it over a month ago!) This month's sketch was done by Barbara, one of the sample artists who'll now be doing sketches as well. The sketch is in my top 3 favorite sketches ever from SheetLoad. You MUST go see it! None of my artwork appears this month (my month off) so you won't be blinded by anything but gorgeous samples! Go see them HERE!

I have signed on for another term with Craft Critique. By the way we are having our 2nd anniversary this week and there are lots of oportunities to win STUFF! I'm very excited because I'll be reviewing a ribbon related accessory in a few weeks. Not sure if I can tell you about it yet so I'll just say... coolness cometh!

Over at gg designs rubber stamps I am creating monthly sketches and/or challenges and enjoying it. I love seeing how people use my ideas. The hardest part is selecting the winner. If you want to see who I chose for February go on over! The winning artist not only made a cool card, but she got her whole crafting club involved.

Not buying craft supplies 2009 challenge... I broke down today while we were near a scrapbook store. It is a store I visit every 2-3 months and unfortunately due to the econonomy, the store has been resized to half size. I felt to bad for the owner so I chatted with her and bought 3 sheets of Basic Greay paper, a sheet of my beloved Daisy D paper and 2 bottles of Stickles (1 matches the paper). I spent $6 and felt like I had helped her out a little. I know... I still broke my promise... but for a good reason ;) I'm going to use my new paper and Stickles for my SheetLoad submission due March 20.

On other fronts my family- me, my husband and daughter- have all been sick. We were all on the mend until my daughter started barking like a seal- that's right- croup.

My new job is going extremely well. I actually have more time for art because I am managing my time much better now. It doesn't surprise me that I needed less time for art to have more time for art.
