Yoohoo or is that UHU?

A few weeks ago I sent away for a free samples of Uhu Twist & Glue in exchange for using it to make something and posting about it on my blog. As you know, I was a big fan of tape runners because they are less messy. I wrote a long article about it for Craft Critique HERE. Anyway, I stopped using liquid glues on paper because of warping, lumps and residue and it just didn't look good after it dried.

I was skeptical to try a liquid glue on paper again but it was free and they sent along some extra goodies. I was very pleasantly surprised. The product is non-toxic and acid free and dries clear (but a bit shiny where it oozed on a card). It washes out with soap and water. I really like the shape of the bottle and a retractable needlepoint applicator.

Now the downside, like with all liquid glues, sometimes you apply a bit more than you need. I had some glue ooze out when I used it one some smaller punched pieces on a different project. It dries kind of stuff which is fine for a card but I wouldn't use it on something that was supposed to be flexible. Bottom line: I really like the product and I would by it again.

PS The layout of this card was inspired by a sketch on the Clear Artistic Designs blog. All of the designers contribute and it has some great ideas. The original sketch post is HERE.

Is the glue readily available in stores or only online right now? I wonder how it works with buttons and little things like rhinestones. Cute card btw. Hehe...lizards are only cute when "fake".

nice interpretation of the sketch, love it!
I've been using Uhu since I can think! We always had the sticks and the yellow tube, pretty intense smell ;)

I sent away for that awhile back and I just ordered some more. It is a good glue. Very cute card too!
