Aloha Flowers

*Tomorrow I'll have a card to show you that I made for my aunt- have no fear- I haven't forgotten how to make cards*

It took me 2 days to finish this page. Lots of Faber Castell Big Brush Markers and some Aquarelle watercolor pencil too. I was inspired by a video I saw on YouTube where a woman showed how she draws Hawaiian style flowers. They weren't terribly authentic (even she said so) but I liked the flowers.

A busy Memorial Day Weekend for us- lots of yardwork and household chores and my 10 year old had to create a large poster for a school project. I saved her a lot of time by cutting about 50 leaves of various sizes, styles and paper colors with my Slice Elite. I actually used it for quite a long time before it needed to be re-charged. I was impressed. Why did I wait so long to buy a cutting machine?
