Business first than some fun news ;)
In a Scrap Creations released some
new images today. There are some cute coffee and baby images. Amanda is trying something a little different and the images are pre-colored. They were a snap to size and print and make into stuff. There is also a new member of the design team-
Shirley (be sure to check out her blog.)
You might be thinking as you look at my samples above- it sure looks like Heather FINALLY broke down and joined this century and bought a die cut machine. I've been having fun with my Slice. I like that you can create shadows to frame your shapes. You'll be seeing LOTS more diecuts and letters from me as I prepare for a review for Craft Critique.
Also I did something yesterday that I have only done one other time in my life- I purchased an entire product line at the same time. I have been intrigued by the
Memory Craft line by Faber-Castell since it was launched at CHA in January. After considerable thought, I ordered gelatos, metallic Pitt markers and some other stuff yesterday because they had a great deal on a television shopping channel.
I won't tell you that the shipping charges quoted when I made my purchase were not the same that appeared on my emailed receipt. Nor will I tell you that I threatened to cancel my order before the customer service rep that was unlucky enough to deal with me offered to refund the difference in shipping. Bet she was glad to be rid of me!
I always like to end on a happy note so I'll share that my 10 year old daughter's artwork was selected to be part of an art show for our school district. I was THRILLED when she showed me the note from her art teacher this morning. As she noted, I was more excited about it than she was (Mom's prerogative).
Thanks for visiting!
